Many instructors/trainers give a brief live fire period using only a 22 caliber pistol to meet the minimum requirement. However, this does not prepare the student for the vast difference's of firearms available to them as well as calibers and the distinct difference in recoil and sound. To make the most of this experience, I provide a number of different firearms and calibers for everyone to try. These are brand name firearms such as Colt, Smith & Wesson, Sig Sauer etc. that are meticulously maintained. Provided firearms include but are not limited to: 9MM, .38 Caliber, .45 caliber including both Autos and Revolvers.

Private Sessions: The NRA Basic Pistol course above is also available as a private session for those who cannot attend a scheduled classes or for a student who prefers more personalized training. The cost will be slightly higher for private lessons. The pistol permit training takes place in two parts. The classroom portion which will be held first followed by the live fire portion which will take place at an appropriate shooting range. I will supply all materials needed for the class and training as well as firearms, ammunition, safety glasses and hearing protection. Other Classes:

If you have already taken a class and do not feel comfortable enough with the time you spent training or want to learn advance defense training and learn how to shoot more efficiently as well as how to draw from the holster, and or tactical moves and engagements I offer live fire sessions for as little as $45.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Learning how to live fire a firearm in a controlled condition is one thing. Preparing yourself for a real confrontation which is commonly called a stress fire condition is extremely different. Shooting holes in paper targets is one thing... engaging an armed aggressor is a totally different situation and requires advanced training both mentally and physically to react instantly and instinctively with no forethought of the process. I teach this advanced course on a one on one, no nonsense, totally professional level. Upon completion of my advance training course you will have the necessary skills to draw from a holster and engage your situation with total confidence and control. This is the key to survival if a situation should ever arise. You will not only learn how to shoot extremely accurate but how to control a rapid fire engagement and stay on target as well. Anyone can learn how to shoot fast but accuracy is what counts and that will be stressed throughout the advanced training course.
